Client Case Study 1: CEO, Road Warrior, Super Mom
JF has been a client of Watson Style Group for ten years. After her first three weeks of working with us, she was delivered a lookbook (see below) of styled outfits showing her how to wear all of her pieces that fit both her body type and style. After editing her closet during our first session we created a strategic shopping list and shopped from numerous online stores to fill the gaps in her closet. We chose the perfect pieces to expand her current closet and give her the outfits she needed to attend everything on her calendar with confidence and ease.
During our most recent years of work, we styled her weekly for business trips and vacations. A stylist would come to her home once per month and stage her closet with outfits so she could easily select what was chosen for her without having to search her closet for all of the pieces. Our goal was to create a reality for JF where she no longer needed to shop, style, or pick out her outfits each day. We were there as a trusted resource to do this for her. This allowed her to focus her time and energy on her life and career but also present herself in a way that prioritizes her professional presence.
Client Case Study 2: VP, World Traveler, Dog Mom
We started with KC in mid-September and by mid-October we delivered her 75 outfits, using pieces she already owned and showed her how to transition these looks from meetings to dinners seamlessly in a digital lookbook. During our initial three days in her home, we edited her closet and photographed all of her clothing, shoes, and accessories.
The biggest transformation with KC took place with the creation of her Style Statement. We determined her clothing needed to represent sophisticated, intentional, and alluring. It was through this lens that we shopped from around the world to collect beautiful pieces to evolve her wardrobe. The next part of the process involved us going to her home, combining the new pieces we shopped for with the existing pieces in her wardrobe, and creating outfits so she has something to wear for every single activity on her calendar from yoga, to the zoo, to meetings, in addition to travel.
KC does not want to have to make wardrobe decisions in the morning. She wants to have the confidence that she’s perfectly styled but entrust us with viewing her calendar, determining the best outfit choice, and ensuring that outfit is hanging in her closet ready for her each day. When SJ started working with us she was traveling almost every week for business. She truly loved clothing but really wanted support with making the most out of what she had already invested in. She also needed us to transform the level of ease she experienced when getting dressed. You can see in her lookbook that we organized her collection by jacket so she could easily choose just two jackets to bring with her on her business trips. Once she chose the jacket her lookbook would tell her all the different ways she could wear that particular jacket.
One of the biggest transformations with SJ was taking her existing clothing, shoes, and accessories and adding pieces she never would have purchased for herself. Allowing us to not only push her out of her comfort zone, nevertheless empowering her to feel polished and styled in every single outfit she wore.
The reality we wanted to create for SJ was to allow her to keep her love of fashion and shopping but truly use the tens of thousands of dollars worth of clothing, shoes, and accessories she had already invested in. We wanted to make sense of her purchases and put them into outfits that honored each piece and the woman wearing them. Three hundred perfectly styled outfits later she knows how to wear her pieces, and has the ability to easily peruse her lookbook to make choices for each and every activity on her calendar.
