We’ve been working with a client since the winter of 2017 who has a stunning collection of clothing she curated herself, mostly from Saks Fifth Avenue and Net-a-Porter. She came to us because she wasn't actually wearing her wardrobe. Every day she found herself wearing athleisure even though she had so many other choices in her wardrobe.
We assessed that the main problem she was facing was that she didn’t know how to style her clothing in a way that made it accessible for her day-to-day. We needed to use what she had and create outfits for the exact activities on her calendar. We knew we could mix and match pieces to make outfits feel as casual and comfortable as she does in athleisure while also creating the confidence she was striving to feel on a daily basis.
The result was a stunning lookbook that organized her outfits by category. She could search for all of her dresses, pants, and skirts and see exactly how to style each piece for day and night. This allowed the client to start wearing all the items she had invested in, empowering her to confidently get dressed for each event on her calendar. The gleeful part was introducing the client to new brands and stores to expand her collection in a direction that truly represented her best and bravest self.
Client Case Study 2: Frustrated with Shopping and Sizing
An East Coast client contacted us after his Estate Manager recommended our services. He has a very difficult body type to fit off-the-rack which created immense frustration for him and his wife when shopping. We came to his home, reviewed what he owned, removed everything from his closet that no longer worked for him, and created a shopping list. We needed to create a complete wardrobe of custom suits and shirts so he could get dressed for work both professionally and casually.
We also purchased him a plethora of brands that worked for his size and height. This gave him casual day-to-day outfits that he could wear when traveling, activities with kids, lounging, and going out on the weekends with friends. The custom suiting exceeded his expectations as we delivered beautifully crafted suits that allowed him to easily get dressed for both events and board meetings.
The result for this client was no longer having to spend time or frustration shopping for himself. When he needed an outfit he, or his estate manager, could easily select one from his lookbook. This created the reality the client wanted which was to not need to invest any of his time or energy into his wardrobe.

Another client found us through her estate manager. We were hired to create a seamless process for getting dressed that would give her the freedom to choose an outfit that she loved every day without having to make decisions regarding what went together in her closet. In order to do this, we truly needed to understand exactly how she wanted to feel every day and how she desired to show up for everything on her calendar. This took some time to discern since, for some occasions, we needed to create a completely new ‘uniform’ that she would feel comfortable in.
This required us to dive deep into what this particular client would wear to an occasion and not get distracted by what “most” people would wear to that occasion. This client didn’t feel comfortable in what “most” people would wear so we had to blend the appropriate outfit choice with the client’s personal style.
The impact was a series of aha moments that resulted in stunning outfits that both honored the client’s personal style and gave her a collection of outfits she could feel comfortable wearing anywhere.
