Our Beginning- A Note From The Founder
Watson Style Group was founded from a deep love of fashion—and a persistent curiosity about how women experience getting dressed. It began not as a plan to become a stylist, but as an exploration of fashion’s deeper purpose: its history, its craftsmanship, and the emotional intelligence behind the choices women make when building their wardrobes.
While studying the impact of fast versus slow fashion in graduate school, I spent years in conversation with women about how they shop, what they value, and how their clothing needs to support the complexity of their lives. That research-led perspective carried into my work in branding, and ultimately into a pivotal moment when I was asked to step in and style a small group of female executives. I said yes—before knowing exactly how it would unfold.
Approaching the work as both a strategist and a curator, I partnered with trusted experts—custom designers, luxury retailers, and artisans—to build wardrobes that were as intentional as they were beautiful. What quickly became clear was that our clients were not seeking more clothing; they were seeking ease, clarity, and an experience that honored their time. They shared how often they wanted to shop, how involved they wished to be, and how seamlessly their wardrobes needed to function across every part of life.
From those conversations, the Watson Style System was developed—a refined, heart-centered methodology that guides our work today. It allows our team to build and manage wardrobes with precision and care, ensuring that the experience of getting dressed is just as considered as the pieces themselves.
Today, Watson Style Group serves executive women and families nationwide, including ultra-high-net-worth clients who value discretion, efficiency, and long-term wardrobe stewardship. Our work is shaped by close relationships with designers, access to collections and fashion shows, and—most importantly—the ongoing trust and insight of our clients. Together with an exceptional team, we continue to evolve our approach, delivering wardrobes that are not only visually stunning, but deeply supportive of the lives they are designed to serve.
